The Engine Cover Makeover!
So Scott from MRT has been showing me all sorts of very cool things they've been doing since they since they started "dipping" things in their new hydrographics tank! Hydrographics or water transfer printing is a method where by all different types of designs and patterns can be printed on to metal, plastic, glass, hard woods, and various other materials, by basically floating the ink on top of a tank of water. That's the very simplistic view of it. To me it reminds me of the OLD FASHIONED way of making Easter Eggs where the dye floated on top of the water and you swirled and dipped the eggs.
Having seen all these cool graphics on all kinds of parts and things, I asked Scott if he would like to try dressing up my very plain, black engine cover. He accepted the challenge and I must say Scott really out did himself! The engine cover turned out spectaular! So without further delay, here are some pictures of the finished product!!!
